Burnett Injury Group is seeking a motivated 1L or 2L law student eager to gain hands-on experience in plaintiffs’ litigation. We are a dynamic and dedicated law firm based in Annapolis, Maryland specializing in motor vehicle collision, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and sexual abuse cases. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and gain invaluable insights into the litigation process.

Position: Law Clerk
Location: Annapolis, Maryland
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Assist attorneys in case preparation and trial preparation.
  • Attend client meetings, depositions, and court hearings.
  • Organize and maintain case files and documents.
  • Collaborate with team members on case strategy and development.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1L or 2L status).
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to serving clients and advocating for justice.
