Preparing for Leadership on a National Stage
In March 2024, Suzanne Burnett had the honor of attending the Bar Leadership Institute hosted by the American Bar Association in Chicago. The program brings together bar leaders from across the country for focused training, collaboration, and forward-looking discussions about the future of the legal profession.
Suzanne attended alongside Fran Czajka, Executive Director of the Anne Arundel Bar Association, as part of her preparation for her upcoming installation as President of the AABA.
What the Bar Leadership Institute Offers
The Bar Leadership Institute is designed to equip incoming and current bar leaders with the tools they need to serve their legal communities effectively. Through programming on leadership development, strategic planning, and member engagement, participants gain valuable insight into strengthening their local bar associations and supporting attorneys in their regions.
For Suzanne, the experience provided an opportunity to connect with peers nationwide, exchange ideas, and bring back strategies that will benefit the Anne Arundel legal community.
